AN EXPLOSIVE event came back to Dunchurch with a bang over the bank holiday weekend.
The Tanks, Trucks and Firepower Show is an annual living history show featuring guns-blazing demonstrations, tank rides and driving experiences.
It is staged by Dunchurch man Andrew Baker, a former mechanic turned army vehicle collector, whose fleet of military vehicles has been used used in TV shows and films including zombie action movie Redcon-1 – some of which was shot in Rugby.
The show included high-speed driving displays by the fastest tanks in the world, gun-firing demonstrations and battle tank exercises, alongside displays, stalls, food and drink.
There was also a free-to-enter show on Friday (August 23) for members of the Rugby Autism Network, when families who have children on the autistic spectrum enjoyed the show in a crowd-free venue.
