A TEENAGER has been arrested during investigations into a spate of overnight vehicle crime around Hillmorton on Sunday night (August 4).
Police said they had received a number of reports of vehicles being broken into or interfered with, which may be linked to a sneak-in burglary in Kingsley Avenue.
An 18-year-old man was arrested a few hours later in connection with the theft of a bicycle.
The suspect was believed to be active around Hillmorton in the early hours of Monday morning.
With enquiries ongoing, police are urging residents to report anything suspicious and check CCTV.
A police spokesman said: “Without a full picture of where the offences have occurred, it is very difficult for officers to complete house-to-house enquiries and CCTV trawls, and to increase targeted patrols.”
