PEOPLE were left trapped after a tree fell onto two narrowboats.
The tree fell onto the boats at Clifton Wharf in Clifton upon Dunsmore, causing one to tip onto its side at around 11pm on Thursday (September 20). Two people were trapped on the boat for a short time.
Emergency services were called and the boat yard owner used machinery to lift the tree.
