DETAILS of three weeks of music, stage, comedy, film, heritage and art planned for this year’s Rugby Festival of Culture are now available.
A free guide to the festival, which takes place from June 24 until July 15 around the town centre, is now available.
Aftab Gaffar, Managing Director of Rugby First, said: “Take time to look through the guide – there’s plenty inside. Indulge yourself, try something different, socialise, laugh, discover, enjoy, celebrate, learn and have fun. Many of the events are free but where booking is required you may need to do so early to avoid disappointment.”
Rugby Borough Council’s tourism and town centre team leader Michael Beirne said: “The Rugby Festival of Culture has gone from strength to strength each year, and this year’s festival has a packed programme of events guaranteed to entertain both residents and visitors to The Rugby Town.
“We’ve been working hard behind the scenes preparing for this year’s Festival of Culture with Rugby First, local businesses, community organisations and our dedicated team of volunteers, and we’re all looking forward to a busy and exciting three weeks in the summer.”
The guide can be downloaded from www.therugbytown.co.uk/festivalofculture or picked up from the Rugby Visitor Centre or town centre businesses.
