AN EAGLE-eyed budding photographer has had her skills recognised by the local Rotary Club.
Year 7 Avon Valley School pupil Julia Ozog was highly commended after entering three photos into the ‘a different perspective’ category of Rugby Rotary Club’s photography competition.
Julia’s photos – which featured Rugby train station, a street performer in Birmingham and a local street scene – have since been displayed in Rugby’s Art Gallery and Museum.
Julia, one of a number of entrants from Avon Valley, took the photo with a Nikon camera she was given for her birthday.
Her head teacher Alison Davies said: “I am very impressed with the photographs that Julia has taken and it is good to hear that they have been displayed for local people to see and they have been shared in our school’s newsletter.
“To celebrate Julia’s success, she has been presented with her certificate from the Rotary Club in front of her year group in assembly.”
