A CONTINENTAL celebration was had by couples in Rugby who ventured to the French city of Evreux.
Rugby’s annual twinning weekend saw 60 French and English natives unite to dine, sight-see and socialise.
And despite the interruption of a false alarm during a tour of the Benedictine Monastery in Fecamp, a good time was had by all.
The Rugby Evreux Twinning Association has been exchanging with French families in Evreux for nearly 50 years. Each year the visits alternate between the two towns.
