CHARGES of fraud by false representation and handling stolen goods have been levelled at a 29-year-old man in connection with a spate of bank card thefts in Rugby.
David Rogers of Meriden Street, Coventry was arrested and charged on Wednesday April 5 with one count of handling stolen goods and four counts of fraud by false representation.
The charges relate to three incidents in Rugby where bank cards were stolen and used fraudulently to buy goods.
He appeared at Leamington Magistrates’ Court on Thursday April 6 and has been remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on May 4.
