RUGBY Town will begin their first season back at Step Five with a trip to Histon on the opening day of the season.
The United Counties League released the fixtures for the 2026/27 season with Rugby back at Step Five in the Premier South Division after suffering relegation last campaign.
And Grant Joshua’s new-look side will make the trip to Histon’s Bridge Road ground on Staurday, July 25 for their opening league game of the season.
Valley then host Moulton in a midweek clash in the club’s first home game of the campaign on Tuesday, July 28 at Butlin Road.
Rugby end the following month with a home game against newly-promoted Knowle (August 29) before making the trip to Highgate United (August 31) on bank holiday Monday.
Town play three league games in September which includes a trip to FC Stratford (September 15).
And Valley play four league games the following month as Rugby make the trip to Lutterworth Town (October 24).
Rugby travel to near neighbours Coventry Sphinx (November 7) at the start of November and host Lutterworth in the reverse fixture in the club’s final game before Christmas (December 19).
Valley then travel to Daventry Town on Boxing Day (December 26) in the club’s final game of the year.
And Rugby begin 2027 with a home game against Highgate (January 2) before travelling to Knowle (January 9) in the club’s first away game of the New Year.
Town play three league games in February and welcome Stratford to Butlin Road the following month (March 6).
Valley end the month with a trip to Eynesbury Rovers (March 27) and then host Daventry (March 29) over the Easter weekend.
Rugby close out the season with successive home matches with Valley to play Godmanchester Rovers (April 10) and then rivals Coventry (April 17) on the final day of the campaign.
