RUGBY Town surrendered an early lead in a 3-1 defeat away at bottom club Bedworth United.
Valley took the lead courtesy of Sam Tye’s goal after just six minutes at The Oval only for Elliott Parrott to draw Bedworth level before the break.
And Ryan Boothe completed the turnaround in the second half before Charlie Gordon completed the scoring soon after.
The result means Rugby sit 13th in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, five points clear of the relegation zone.
Valley made the perfect start as Tye headed in Teddy Rowe’s corner from close range at the back post.
However, basement club Bedworth equalised on 33 minutes when Parrott brought down a long throw from the right and fired a low effort into the bottom left corner.
And the home side took the lead on 73 minutes as Boothe forced the ball over the line following an almighty goalmouth scramble.
Bedworth struck again six minutes from time when substitute Gordon headed in a corner from the left at the near post.
Rugby are next in action against AFC Rushden and Diamonds on Tuesday, November 25 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Hayden Road.
