RUGBY Borough lost at home for just the second time this season following a 1-0 defeat against Lichfield City.
Borough saw their four-game unbeaten run at Kilsby Lane come to an end as Jack Edwards scored the game’s only goal.
And the result means Borough sit fifth in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, four points behind leaders Belper Town who have a game in-hand.
Edwards scored the winner on 77 minutes with a free-kick into the bottom left corner which wrong-footed Borough goalkeeper Brandon Ganley.
Rugby are next in action against Carlton Town on Tuesday, November 28 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Bill Stokeld Stadium.
